This was far and away the single best experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional. I was, fortunately, able to be seen immediately with no appointment. But I would have waited as long as I needed to if I knew I’d be treated with the level of care and attention I received.
Maybe I’m just unlucky, but every time I’ve ever seen someone about my health I always get the sense that I’m just a body that’s being ushered in-and-out, and that I’m only receiving the bare minimum that’s ethically or legally required. This is the first time my experience was a genuine pleasure and not a depressing chore. Lana made me feel listened to and like I was important, and I’m truly grateful to know that someone like her is out there helping other people the way she helped me.
